The Adventure of Photography
Recently I had the opportunity to photograph a number of Lusitano Stallions at Flying Cloud Farm in Petaluma. They were participating in a clinic hosted by Allison Mathy of Lyric Dressage, working with renowned trainer Carlos Carneiro from Portugal. Flying Cloud has one of the most beautiful arenas I’ve seen, and spending the day with Allison, Carlos, these incredible horses and their owners and trainers was a pleasure. I went home with 50 gig of photos and videos, and I am finishing those edits now.
Stallions have so much power and fire, being in an arena or round pen with them in action is always fun. It was a cold morning, and Andiamo, one of the first horses to work that day, worked up a sweat.
